Thanks to all for your interests in participating in the 2019 PAP, Haiti Marathon and Half!

 

Those submitting an application to compete in the 2019 PAP, Haiti Marathon and Half must be at least 17 years of age or older on the day of the race, 2019. Participants 17 years of age must have a statement signed by their parents or legal guardian allowing them to participate. Only one application per person is allowed. All fees processed due to participants violating the rules and submitting duplicate applications are non-refundable.

Applications for entry into the 2019 PAP, Haiti Marathon have to be received by 11:59 p.m. on the day before the race. All applicants have to apply online or in person through LGH Marathon. For 2019, entries will also be accepted through LGH Marathon official participating charities.

Where Does My Entry Fee Go?

100% of your entry fees goes directly towards our Commitment to bring organized sports and recreational activities to Haiti; in an effort to reduce gambling and other non healthy games as popular pastimes.  We want to give the youth of Haiti the chance to experience sports in a safe, fun and healthy way. With your participation, we can provide resources and qualified training to improve the quality of life; develop future leaders and show the youth of Haiti the importance of running, good health, nutrition and education. ​

Fees for Haitian Residents living in certain zones will be covered by volunteered sponsors.​
 

Non-Haitian Residents (those who live outside of Haiti) $150 USD for the full and $120 for the half. Click here for details on purchasing a package.

You don’t have to be a runner or a professional athlete to participate — there are plenty of people who will simply stroll through the course just for the fun and support of this great cause.

Entry fees will be charged immediately upon acceptance into the race.

Once you have been accepted, your entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any and all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation.

Through this 26.2M and 13.1M marathons, we hope to recruit at least 500 runners and walkers from around the globe. With that amount of runners, we will be able to achieve all of our set goals.

Rules of Competition

The PAP, Haiti Marathon is organized and conducted under USA and Haiti Track & Field rules and regulations. Entrants must also comply with all applicable rules and regulations of Haiti, its agencies and departments, including all the ministries involved.

 

​No skates, strollers, or animals are permitted in the marathon. The use of headphones is strongly discouraged.

LGH Marathon reserves the right to reject any entry and to disqualify and bar any individual from the PAP, Haiti Marathon. This rejection/disqualification may be based on, but not limited to: violation of the aforementioned rules; unsportsmanlike conduct; non-payment of race fees; competing with an unofficial number; competing with an official number or d-tag assigned to another person; transferring or attempting to transfer an official number or d-tag to, or to obtain such number or d-tag from, another person; being paced during the race by a person not entered in the Marathon; accepting assistance from non-race participants; crossing the finish line without having completed the entire course; and providing false information on the race entry form. Individuals disqualified from the PAP, Haiti Marathon will be removed from the race results and may be barred from future Marathons and other LGH Marathon events. LGH Marathon reserves the right to change the details of the race.
