At The Go / The Start
START LINE:

Runners will start together at the sound of the starting gun.

Your finish time will be your net time—that is, based on when you cross the start line

Only officially registered entrants and guides are allowed in the start area. You must have your race or guide number
visible to enter.

There will only be one start village for all participants.

The start village is outdoors and may be hot and humid; light clothing is recommended.

There are toilets in the start villages and in areas throughout the race.

Use the appropriate (city provided) containers for trash.

No smoking in the start village.

A full medical staff is available in the village. If you feel ill, alert the medical staff. If you are unable to run, you will be put on a bus that will transport you to the finish area after the final wave has cleared the start line.

A free breakfast consisting of tea, Natural Spring Water, bread, Bars, and Haitian coffee will be available.

Christian religious services will be provided.

We advise that you wear very light clothing.
