At The Go / The Start

START LINE:

  • Runners will start together at the sound of the starting gun.

  • Your finish time will be your net time—that is, based on when you cross the start line

  • Only officially registered entrants and guides are allowed in the start area. You must have your race or guide number

    visible to enter.

  • There will only be one start village for all participants.

  • The start village is outdoors and may be hot and humid; light clothing is recommended.

  • There are toilets in the start villages and in areas throughout the race.

  • Use the appropriate (city provided) containers for trash. 

  • No smoking in the start village.

  • A full medical staff is available in the village. If you feel ill, alert the medical staff. If you are unable to run, you will be put on a bus that will transport you to the finish area after the final wave has cleared the start line.

  • A free breakfast consisting of tea, Natural Spring Water, bread, Bars, and Haitian coffee will be available.

  • Christian religious services will be provided.

  • We advise that you wear very light clothing.​
