Run For A Cause

Join Haiti's only marathon charity program

Thank you for your interest in the Let's Go Haiti Marathon "Run For a Cause Charity Program". 2018 was our official launch of the program to assist as many small charities as we possibly can in Haiti annually. While marathons are run in virtually every country, in Haiti it is still a very new thing. The

For years charities in developed countries have been welcomed by the running community to achieve financial support for their missions. We are delighted to offer the same opportunity to the charities in Haiti that are doing the best they can everyday to remain active in the lives of the Haitian people.

The Port-au-Prince, Haiti Marathon and Half are scheduled for March 17, 2019. This date is subject to change.

Who can become a fundraiser for a charity?

Anyone can become a fundraiser for a favorite charity; runner or not. Running for your favorite non-profit has never been so easy. We know there are a lot of worthy organizations in Haiti. If you want to run the 2019 PAP, Haiti Marathon and Half for a charity, you and the charity have to work together to fulfill all the requirements to complete the entry process.

* You will need to raise a minimum of $1,500 or whatever you and your chosen organization agreed upon.

* Make sure that you can successfully meet the charity's fundraising goal before you sign up to run for the charity. Most charities will charge secure runners' entries with a credit card and a signed contract.

* It is always a plus if you can commit to raising more than the minimum as charities do not like when their runners have trouble meeting their quotas. Your ability to fundraise significantly more than the   minimum is a big plus as some charities do turn away runners.
